The mix may include various lettuce types, rocket, chicory, corn salad and other leaves with flavours ranging from sweet to slightly bitter or peppery. It is sown densely and harvested young, repeatedly, providing fresh leaves throughout the season. It prefers cool weather, fertile soils and regular watering, and is ideal for small gardens and pots.
