Winter care: tolerates brief frosts to −3 °C, but roots are exposed in a pot — overwinter in a bright, cool place (5–10 °C)
Watering: let the compost dry out completely between waterings; very little in winter. Never leave water in the saucer.
Caution: Highly toxic to dogs and cats; the seeds are the most dangerous part.
