Yarrow, Teasel, Centaureas, Common poppy, Foxglove, Oxeye daisy, Bird's-foot trefoil, Mallows, St John's wort, Corncockle, various umbellifers, Oregano, Meadow sage, Catchflies, Viper's bugloss.
Prepare the ground as for a lawn: remove weeds including roots, loosen the soil to about 10 cm and level it. Mix the seed with fine sand for even distribution, broadcast it, firm lightly and water with a fine spray. Do not bury the seed deeply.
Water until emergence and weed as needed. Multi-year mixtures should be cut above 15 cm, once or twice a year after flowering, to encourage the plants to start again.
