Fleurs de Printemps is a flower seed mixture from the EconSeeds catalogue (Graines Bertrand brand), from the Les Paysagers & Durables range – multi-year landscape mixtures. A mixture created specifically for autumn sowing. Sowing just before the first frosts sets the stage for an explosion of flowers from the first spring days in March.

Composition

Virginia stock, Alpine forget-me-not, Toadflax, Snow-in-summer, Soapwort, Maiden pink, Catchfly, Aubrieta, Perennial blanketflower, Viola, Alyssum, Candytuft.

Sowing method

Prepare the ground as for a lawn: remove weeds including roots, loosen the soil to about 10 cm and level it. Mix the seed with fine sand for even distribution, broadcast it, firm lightly and water with a fine spray. Do not bury the seed deeply.

Maintenance

Water until emergence and weed as needed. Multi-year mixtures should be cut above 15 cm, once or twice a year after flowering, to encourage the plants to start again.
