Sowing period: best in April–October; also possible in March; November only as a dormant sowing
Flowering period: May–September (in summer of the first year when spring-sown, then from spring in following years)

Sowing rate: 2–3 g/m² on plots under 1,000 m²; 10–15 kg/ha above that
Yarrow, Alyssum, Basil, Centaurea, Coreopsis, Coriander, St John's wort, Meadow buttercup, Tansy, Thyme.
Prepare the ground as for a lawn: remove weeds including roots, loosen the soil to about 10 cm and level it. Mix the seed with fine sand for even distribution, broadcast it, firm lightly and water with a fine spray. Do not bury the seed deeply.
Water until emergence and weed as needed. Multi-year mixtures should be cut above 15 cm, once or twice a year after flowering, to encourage the plants to start again.
